Do you offer camps?

Yes we offer a day, weekend and week long programs in horsemanship for children and adults. These rewarding and informative programs are sure to be the highlight of any equestrian! Our light hearted and fun approach keeps the atmosphere relaxed and even if horse ownership is not in your near future, all of the knowledge you will gain will only improve your basic horsemanship skills.

Horsemanship Day ages 7 and up

  This day offers a glimpse into the life of owning and caring for a horse. This fun and educational day of experience introduces a different level of riding instruction, techniques to groom your horse, maintenance and proper use of horse equipment, equine nutrition, basic veterinary and hoof care, horse related contests, games prizes and much more.

Horsemanship Week Camp ages 8 and up

Spending all day all week at the barn, campers are assigned their very own horse to love and care for. There is a lot of riding, contests on grooming and horse care, quizzes, and horse related crafts. Students learn to prepare a horse for competitions at Dar-Col's horse show.  A family BBQ and fun horse show will allow an opportunity to show off their newly learned skills at the conclusion of the week long camp.

Adult Weekend

Adults do something for yourself and leave the stress of the "real world" at the barn door. This weekend follows the same agenda as the Horsemanship Day but is geared to the adult horse lover.
